Our hereos also have to tackle the reign of Apocalypse and his student and protege Stryfe.

Cable's adventures in the future continue one year later in the Askani'Son mini-series, written and drawn by the same creative team of this mini-series. Cyclops and Phoenix's adventures continue in the Further Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix.
