Plot:
The small town of Ystad in Sweden is suddenly struck by what appear to be be terrorist attacks after the townhouse has an art exhibition that is the center of a religious controversy. The army, secret service , the politics interfere with the police work. But who is really blowing up things and killing local citizens?

Wallander is adapted from the late Henning Mankell's Kurt Wallander novels. This first episode of the second series, Hämnden (The Revenge), was released in Swedish cinemas in January 2009; the rest of the series was made for television.
