Aurea early that he wanted to be an actress, so going to the Theatre course at the University of Evora, but soon realized it was the music and wanted to follow along with David Jacobson, a music student at the same school, began writing songs. Rui Ribeiro was the author of nine themes of the debut album, which marks a clear influences pop / soul. The album was produced by John Matos and Ricardo Ferreira. Among his influences are names such as Aretha Franklin, Joss Stone, John Mayer, Amy Winehouse, James Morrison and even Zero 7.
