"Love Like Winter" is the sixth track on AFI's album Decemberunderground, released in 2006. It is also the second single for the album, following "Miss Murder". The music video for the single was directed by Marc Webb, who also directed the videos for AFI's "The Days of the Phoenix", "The Leaving Song, Pt. II" and "Miss Murder". The band members refused to discuss the video until its release, as they wished to surprise their most diehard fans. Unlike its predecessor, the video for the single reached the #1 spot on Total Request Live.


Music Video:

The band is in a forest and one by one die off, leaving Havok as the only remaining member of the band, chasing after a mysterious woman (Christina Petrovic), who reveals herself as evil, not enticing as Havok once believed. The woman presumably kills Havok by drowning him under thin ice. Suddenly she appears behind him, kisses him and they both drown under the thin ice. It is very mysterious.

The video was inspired by Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill duology and Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow.

In mid-September 2006, the song appeared on the band's MySpace page, along with promotional photos from the then-unreleased video.
