"Karma" is an R&B–hip hop soul–classical song written by Kerry Brothers, Jr., Taneisha Smith, and American singer-songwriter Alicia Keys for Keys' second studio album, The Diary of Alicia Keys (2003). Released as the album's fourth and final single in October 2004, it peaked at number twenty on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and number seventeen on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart—the album's only single not to top a Billboard chart. A mashup of the song with Stevie Wonder's 1972 hit "Superstition" entitled "Karmastition", produced by Go Home Productions, exists.

Alicia J. Augello-Cook (born January 25, 1981), professionally known as Alicia Keys, is an American R&B, soul, and neo soul singer-songwriter, pianist, and actress. Keys has sold over thirty million albums worldwide and has won numerous awards, including eleven Grammy Awards, seventeen Billboard Music Awards, and three American Music Awards. Keys has a vocal range of a dramatic contralto, spanning three octaves. Keys cites Stevie Wonder as her biggest influence. She is often called the "Princess of Soul".
