Wybuchła śmiertelna plaga, znana jako "Virus Reaper", zabijając setki tysięcy ludzi. W desperacji brytyjski gubernator ewakuuje z zakażonego obszaru niezainfekowanych ludzi, po czym buduje ścianę, która ma odseparować skażony teren. Trzydzieści lat później ściana ciągle stoi, zaś o całym incydencie zapomniano, aż do momentu, gdy wirus atakuje ponownie.
