Synopsis:
In a forgotten community and proud installed on a bayou (swamp formed by the meandering Mississippi) from the world by a huge dam, the little Hushpuppy, six years, is about to become an orphan. Long ago her mother was, and worshiped and crazy father is always partying.

Hushpuppy must cope as you can in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by semi-wild animals. He sees nature as a fragile web of things populous live, breathe and expel water and that the universe depends on everything fit perfectly.

But when a hundred-year storm rising waters around his village, his father suddenly ill and a ferocious prehistoric creatures awaken thawed and decided to throw a load, Hushpuppy natural order finds that he loves is about to collapse . In a desperate attempt to repair the structure of the world and so save his father and his home, this tiny hero must learn to survive unstoppable catastrophe of epic proportions.
