This documentary takes you through the art and times of the historical Beat Generation, it tells of the experiments that took place in Tangier, Morocco, where William Burroughs, Brion Gysin and the painter Hamri taught Jack Kerouac, Timothy Leary and Allen Ginsberg how to live outside the law.

Destroy All Rational Thought features interviews and discussion with many people that had a hand in the making of the Beat Generation and documents "The Here To Go Show" (Dublin, 1992) which commemorated William Burroughs and the Tangier Beat scene.
