Synopsis:
Year 1987 in Baghdad when the Iraqi army lieutenant Latif Yahia (Dominic Cooper), is summoned from the frontline to Saddam Hussein's palace and is thrust into the highest echelons of the royal family to have to become, thanks to his physical resemblance, at twice the son of Saddam, the famous prince Uday Hussein (Dominic Cooper), a reckless young man with a ferocious hunger for sex and brutality. With his life and his family at stake, Latif decides to give up his former self forever as he learns to walk, talk and act like Uday. With one wrong move could cost him his life, Latif forges an intimate bond with Sarrab (Ludivine Sagnier), Uday's seductive mistress who's haunted by his own secret agents. But as she weaves a war with Kuwait and Uday hangs with a gangster regime threatens to destroy them all, Latif realizes that escape from the devil's den will have a high price.

Sinopsis:

Con su vida y su familia en juego, Latif decide renunciar a su antiguo yo para siempre a medida que aprende a caminar, hablar y actuar como Uday. Con un movimiento en falso que le puede costar su vida, Latif forja un vínculo íntimo con Sarrab (Ludivine Sagnier), la seductora amante de Uday, que es perseguida por sus propios agentes secretos. Pero mientras se teje una guerra con Kuwait, y Uday se cierne con un régimen mafioso que amenaza con destruirlos a todos, Latif se da cuenta que escapar de la guarida del diablo tendrá un alto precio.
