synopsis

Joel (Jim Carrey) is stunned and dazed when he learns that his girlfriend Clementine (Kate Winslet) erased from his mind the memories of their tumultuous relationship. Desperate, Joel contacts the inventor of the process, Dr. Howard Mierzwiak (Tom Wilkinson) to remove any memories of Clementine from his own memory. Except that, as memories progressively disappear, Joel begins to rediscover his initial passion.

Sinopsis
