Space Academy was a live-action sci-fi children's television program produced by Filmation,airing on CBS in 1977.Set in the year 3732, the series revolved around Commander Isaac Gampu (played by the rather manic Jonathan Harris of Lost In Space) who was in charge of an elite school built into an asteroid in space. The purpose of this school was to gather the brightest young people in the galaxy so that they could be trained to explore new planets in the name of Earth.They worked alongside a robot named Peepo who was always there to lend a helping hand whenever possible.
