Synopsis:
After hundreds of years of conflict, the human race has defeated his most terrifying enemy, the hordes of vampires. The few remaining vampires have been held in isolated reserves, and most humans have taken refuge in walled cities run by the Church. The priests, trained as deadly fighters during the wars against the vampires, now perform menial jobs, live in complete isolation and marked by their distinctive tattoos, are shunned by the locals.

When news of a vampire attack and the kidnapping of a 18 year old in a remote area reaches the ears of a priest (Paul Bettany), a veteran, this ruling monsignors requests permission to go for the hostage his niece. When they refuse, breaks his sacred vows, defies the orders of his superiors and sets out to find the girl before the enslaved vampires. In cross joins her niece\'s boyfriend, Hicks (Cam Gigandet), a young sheriff and a trigger-happy old warrior priestess (Maggie Q) who has supernatural fighting powers.

But when they reach the desert town of Jericho, Priest, Priestess Hicks and found a scene of devastation that bears the mark of the vampire and with it a new and frightening threat.

Sinopsis:
Después de centenares de años de enfrentamiento, la raza humana ha derrotado a su más terrorífico enemigo, las hordas de vampiros. Los pocos vampiros que quedan han sido recluidos en reservas aisladas, y la mayoría de los humanos se han refugiado en ciudades amuralladas dirigidas por la Iglesia. Los sacerdotes, entrenados como combatientes mortíferos durante las guerras contra los vampiros, ahora realizan trabajos menores, viven en completo aislamiento y marcados por sus distintivos tatuajes, son evitados por los vecinos del lugar.

Cuando la noticia de un ataque vampírico y el secuestro de una joven de 18 años en una zona remota llega a oídos de Sacerdote (Paul Bettany), un veterano de guerra, este solicita a los monseñores reinantes permiso para ir en busca de la rehén, su sobrina. Cuando ellos se niegan, rompe sus votos sagrados, desafía las órdenes de sus superiores y se dispone a encontrar a la chica antes de que los vampiros la esclavicen. A su cruzada se une el novio de su sobrina, Hicks (Cam Gigandet), un joven sheriff de gatillo fácil y una antigua sacerdotisa guerrera (Maggie Q) que posee poderes de lucha sobrenaturales.

Pero cuando llegan al desértico pueblo de Jericho, Sacerdote, Hicks y Sacerdotisa se encuentran con una escena de devastación que lleva la marca de los vampiros y con ello una nueva y escalofriante amenaza.
