Blue Hallways is a project by singer-songwriter Zach Spencer, having released one self titled EP and soon to release his debut album, "Escape Reason", Spencer has given off a motivative sound that inspires those around him. Blue Hallways has an acoustic/indie sound that blends well with Spencer's inspiring lyrics.

The true goal of the independent artist shouldn't be focused on making money and getting a name for themselves. But to feel that they are making a difference, that their music is affecting others positively and sending the message that was aimed for. Originality and one's true self cannot be compromised, individualism is unique to all. We need to hold onto it. The money and fame are the bonus, the acknowledgment of certain achievement that few will find.

That being said, Blue Hallways started when Zachary was turning 16. He bought his first guitar, and within a few weeks, started writing his own material. Through many battles of self-consciousness, doubt, and lack of commitment, he is continuing to do so today. Writing his own material (with help every once and awhile) and keeping his originality. Keeping his voice close to heart, heart close to reason, and reason close to madness.

All recordings are done in Zachary's bedroom, along with all music. Some lyrics are provided by significant others. A six track EP was released in late 2007. A second album, this time full length will be released in December of 2008. Blue Hallways remains to this day, a one man band trying to put a dent in the music industries armor.
