Few of you will know Jo lemaire although she had a european hit in 1981
with a fantastic haunting electronic version of serge gainsbourgs je suis venue te dire reaching top ten in several europe charts , her second album Concorde was without her usual band flouze but produced by Tc matics Jean marie aerts,

what makes this album unique is the mix between a sort of chanson voice and
sparse electronics in this case linndrum and jupiter8 , arp odyssey.
Jo lemaire defenetly had together with annie lennox the best female vocal in newwave.
Her style was copied later on by well known french acts such as Desireless voyage
voyage and Jeanne mass toute premiere fois who copied the french chanson + electronics style of Jo.
