Prästänkan aka The Parson's Widow is a 1920 comedy drama film directed by Carl Theodor Dreyer. The film is based on a story Prestekonen by Kristofer Janson.

When a young preacher takes over as pastor of a small town, he finds himself charged with one unexpected duty—marrying and caring for the former parson’s elderly widow. The problem is that the longer the old woman lives, the longer he must wait to marry his true sweetheart. The Parson’s Widow explores a number of Dreyer’s favorite themes—duty, religion and mortality—with a light touch and a healthy dose of good humor.
