Our dream when we started working on Video Games Live in 2002 was to demonstrate how artistic and culturally significant video games have become. Aside from opening the eyes of non-gamers to our industry, our goal is to help usher in a whole new generation of people to appreciate symphonic music.

This album showcases some of the more popular segments that currently appear in Video Games Live. This album contains several unique arrangements that were created along with the original composers exclusively for our show, and have never been released until now. This is also the first true studio-recorded video game industry compilation album. As video game composers, we are honored to be able to present this one-of-a-kind collection for the first time.
