This is confusing folks.....One would think that an RVG edition would be an old

BLUE NOTE recorded back east. This here offering is called RVG because Van Gelder

merely remastered it in 2001, not that I'm belittling his great contribution to

jazz otherwise. These are old mono recordings from 1954 and 24 bit remastering

at this point is overkill IMO. Some of these were recorded on my birthday.

It would take me 25 years to really dig into jazz music, especially that from

the late '50s. Great harmony here and I just can't hear enough ZOOT!
