What is it about? This is a special edition of the theatrical cut from E.T. including 2 deleted scenes, but none of the crap from the current DVD.

* A hybrid of the perfect original and the bastard Special Edition. The cleaned up optical effects and the two deleted scenes (minus any CG moments in the ?bathtub? scene) from the SE were inserted into the original cut. No crappy CG-e.t., no hippies, no walkie talkies.

Conceptual improvements/advancements of edit over original:

Like the Star Wars OT re-edits, I tried to make a less-offensive SE that just cleaned up a few dated FX and threw in some fun new scenes without butchering the plot or visuals.
