Shane's brother Robby is leaving Alice Springs for a job in the Coober Pedy opal fields. Feeling abandoned and being more than a little drunk, Shane hatches a plot to keep his brother at home. Urging Robby to hit the town on their last night together, Shane takes his brother for a ride, both physically and emotionally which leaves Robby a psychological mess, unable to decipher fact from fiction.
