A mysterious magnetic spool found during a construction project is discovered to have originated from Venus. A rocket expedition to Venus is launched to discover the origin of the spool and the race that created it.

This was not the usual Japanese sci-fi of those years. It was a truely international cast. They portrayed a very optimistic view of international cooperation. Many ethnicities where represented and mostly without sterio-typing. The quality of the file is adequate to good.
