Jack n'a pas souvent le temps de profiter de Lori, sa fiancée depuis 6 mois. Comptable, il travaille énormément, essentiellement pour une grosse société informatique nommée ACT. Il profite d'une réunion dans une station touristique au siège d'ACT pour demander à Lori de l'accompagner. Mais Jack ne revient pas de sa réunion.
