Are We Done Yet? is a 2007 family comedy film starring Ice Cube. The film is both a remake of the classic Cary Grant comedy Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House (previously re-made as The Money Pit) and a sequel to 2005's hit comedy Are We There Yet? The film was directed by Steve Carr from a screenplay by Hank Nelken. It was produced by Revolution Studios and RKO Pictures, and distributed by Columbia Pictures. The film was shot on location in Vancouver, Canada, but is set in Newberg, Oregon. The film is rated PG for some innuendo and brief language.
Plot
This sequel picks up as the newly formed family of Nick, Suzanne, Lindsey and Kevin move from the city to the suburbs in the pursuit of an idyllic life. A renovation of the dilapidated mansion they buy leads to chaos, however, as Nick clashes with the eccentric contractor, Chuck Mitchell Jr. (John C. McGinley), who bonds with Suzanne and the kids. Nick is losing his family to the wacky contractor/inspector/real estate agent/midwife. At a certain point in the movie, Nick fires Chuck, causing him to drive his family away, and all his help. During a thunderstorm, Nick decides to fix the house by himself.

After talking to Mr.Rooney,Nick learns that Chuck's wife died 3 years ago and has no other family. Nick apologizes to Chuck about his behavior and rehires him. Days later, Suzanne goes into labor and needs Chuck's help. Chuck speedwalks to the mansion, along the way instructing Lindsey to get some materials including 'hotsauce'. Nick faints after seeing the baby's head. Lindsey uses the hotsauce to bring him back and Chuck arrives. Chuck noticed that he just missed the state record of his running time of his walk.Next, Chuck told everyone in the family to breathe. Finally, Chuck told Suzanne she's ready. When Chuck grabbed the baby off Suzanne's tummy it cried. When Nick saw the baby. He said: 'Oh God'. So he fainted again.
