George Jung is een zoon van een familie die maar met moeite de touwtjes aan elkaar kan knopen.
George neemt zich voor om nooit hetzelfde lot te zullen treffen. Hij verhuist naar Californië, waar hij zijn eigen drugshandel begint.
Hij verkrijgt hiermee succes, maar komt wel in de bak terecht. In de gevangenis ontmoet hij een celgenoot die hem introduceert met de cocaïnemarkt.
Als hij vrijkomt wordt hij al snel de grootste speler in de handel in cocaïne.
