Υπόθεση ...

«Machete» είναι ο τίτλος της ταινίας του Rodriguez , εμπνευσμένος από την συνεργασία του με τον Quentin Tarantino
το 2007 όταν είχαν κυκλοφορήσει το double – bill καλτ υπερθέαμα «Grindhouse», από όπου έγινε δημοφιλής
ο χαρακτήρας Machete. Η υπόθεση στρέφεται γύρω από τον Machete , έναν πρώην μεξικανό ομοσπονδιακό πράκτορα,
ο οποίος καταλήγει να κάνει διάφορες «δουλειές» του δρόμου, προσπαθώντας να εκδικηθεί έναν βαρόνο ναρκωτικών
και έναν διεφθαρμένο γερουσιαστή που τον πρόδωσαν. Ως κύριο όπλο του χρησιμοποιεί το μακρύ μαχαίρι «μασέτε»
που χρησιμοποιούν για τα ζαχαροκάλαμα, ενώ χειρίζεται με επιδέξιο τρόπο κάθε μορφής λεπίδα.

Storyline ...

Three years ago in Mexico, determined Federale Machete is betrayed and set-up by his boss, resulting in his wife
and child being murdered by drug kingpin Torrez. Now, in Texas, Machete resurfaces when hired to assassinate
Senator McLaughlin, an extreme advocate against illegal immigration.
Once again betrayed and set-up, Machete plots his revenge against the men who've wronged him with the help
