After Zane Ziminski is found dead in Alaska five people receive envelopes that he had sent in case of his death with details of an alien invasion. This group of five includes 3 scientists, Zane's brother Jack, and a reporter.They all meet in a meat locker where it is cold because the aliens who are manufacturing global warming cannot stand the cold for long but the aliens sneak a mole in who takes the cold for a while and then loses his disguise and dies but not before un leashing a small sphere that opens and sucks in everything inside it within a certian radius, Quickly the group is down to three and then Jack and Bridget, the reporter. With a small piece of alien technology escape only to be tracked down by more aliens who destroy their lives by deleting their credit and other things of their identy,some how Jack and Bridgit find a way to make the small perimid work with industrial lasers and foil the aliens plan of making a nucular reactor melt down that would have accelerated global warming 10 fold
