Underoath is a Grammy-nominated Metal band from Tampa, Florida. They formed in 1988. 'Lost in the Sound of Separation' is the sixth studio album by Underoath. It is the fourth on Solid State Records, and was released on August 30th 2008. The album title is taken from a line of the lyrics of "We Are the Involuntary". This latest release is "heavier" and "darker" than the 2006 release, 'Define the Great Line'.
