HARDtalk’s Stephen Sackur speaks to Simon Cheng, an employee of the British consulate in Hong Kong who was arrested last year in mainland China and, he says, interrogated and physically abused. A year on, Mr Cheng is seeking asylum in the UK and China is about to impose a new national security law in Hong Kong. Will anything stop Beijing imposing its will on Hong Kong?
