The index is illustrated with monochrome thumbnails.

Some of the illustrations are from the Shueisha tankōbons—the front face and front flap of jackets, and the front and back cover panels.
Other illustrations originated as title pages of scenes in magazines, sometimes colored.
Most of these illustrations are missing or truncated in the US VIZ Media edition.

Style
Art styles include Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Cubism, Impressionism, and Expressionism. The basic outlines for Claymore characters, such as Clare, Raki, Cynthia, and Rigaldo, derive from school children characters in Yagi's previous series, Angel Densetsu.

I downloaded the art book from Nyaa myself. And found that it was missing 14 monochrome illustrations. Not to mention, it was all .jpgs and not in the correct order. So, I took it upon myself to find high quality of the missing illustrations from Reddit (thanks to the members of r/claymore) and have included them here and converted them to PDF.
