In this ADSR Production Concepts course, Instructor Stephen Ellestad walks you through a basic static mix workflow, discussing the process and choices he makes along the way.
This workflow was developed over several years of teaching audio mix concepts at the college level, and provides a clear, repeatable process for engineers of all levels and genres.

Course Overview
Power Mixing is a basic concept that allows mix engineers to create a balanced, three dimensional static mix. In this course you’ll step through the process starting with logical grouping of mix elements and working through basic balancing, dynamics, equalization, stereo width and depth before moving onto more specific individual group elements.
