Pascal Allaigre, a guitarist from New Caldonia, has released his fifth solo instrumental album, "Chain Reaction". The disc by the New Caledonia-based guitarist features guest appearances by artists including fellow GIT grad Paul Hanson and Mike Terrana. Most of the tracks on "Chain Reaction" have to be heard to be believed, as Allaigre ups the energy ante with amazing fretwork and memorable melodies. Fans of his previous four albums will be thrilled, but the songs on "Chain Reaction" are strong enough to win Pascal an entire legion of new heavy guitar enthusiasts.
