This is a rare vinyl release by a now-forgotten, very interesting young, almost teenage band, Saint Jacques. It's clear that at the turn of the 1960s and 1970s, there were so many bands that only the most talented, the luckiest, or the most brazen managed to "break through." The band itself, and this record, have been undeservedly forgotten. Very cool melodies, excellent vocals, a variety of songs, transitions from classic psychedelic pieces to funk and prog—all in all, a very interesting disc.
