Grech s’est séparé d’Island Records peu de temps après la sortie d’Unholy, mais la page Myspace de
Grech a annoncé l’arrivée du nouvel album, March of the lonely. Le premier single de l’album, The
Heritage, est sorti en CD single le 30 mars 2007 sur le propre label de Grech, Martin Grech Songs,
via le label en ligne Burning Shed. March of the Lonely a adopté une approche complètement
différente de ses précédents CD, et était beaucoup plus acoustique, plus basé sur la guitare, avec
une texture plus fine et une atmosphère plus douce. The March of the Lonely est sorti le 4 juin 2007
au Royaume-Uni via Genepool Records.
