Exit the Gungeon est un bullet hell qui se déroule après les aventures d'Enter the Gungeon, où nos héros un peu barjots avaient entrepris un périple en quête d'absolution ! Seul hic : le Gungeon est devenu un paradoxe et s'écroule ! Doté d'une arme en constante mutation, d'un appétit insatiable pour les butins et d'une aptitude à exécuter des roulades, chaque Gungeonnier doit se frayer un chemin jusqu'au sommet de ce dédale en empruntant son propre itinéraire composé d'ascenseurs périlleux. Affrontez les derniers Zombarmes et calmez vos ardeurs pour bavarder avec des personnages connus et inconnus. Avec des salles qui ont la bougeotte, des ennemis et des boss retors, sans oublier moult objets et armes bizarroïdes, tout se mêle et s'entremêle pour garantir que chaque tentative d'échapper au Gungeon sera unique en son genre.

Oh, et vous pouvez porter des chapeaux. Tout le monde aime les chapeaux, et les spin-offs... Ça tombe bien puisque ce jeu est un spin-off... d'Enter the Gungeon.
