This novel by Kristin Hannah is the first novel of hers I have ever listened to. In this heartbreaking novel, Lexi, once a foster child is adopted by her great aunt Eva. After meeting twins Mia and Zach, the three are inseparable, and Lexi and Zach become a couple. On their graduation party, peer pressure drives the three inseparable friends to make the wrong decisions that will lead to devastating consequences. This novel should serve as a lesson in high school peer pressure, and that making the wrong decisions can lead to serious reprocussions for those involved. I do not know how many tissues I went through listening to this novel, so this novel is a must read if you need a good cry.
