Also, there’s a fairly obscure (to us in the West) reference to an adlibbed line by the voice actor for The Thing in the dub for the Fantastic Four cartoon from 1967. UPDATE: Did a bit more homework on the odd reference; the phrase "monsieur I'm horny" was an adlibbed line by comedian Keiroku Seki, kept for reasons unknown in his voice-acting role as The Thing in the Japanese dub for Fantastic Four (1967) (see: https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm22913627). You can think of that dub being to the Japanese like what the Ghost Stories anime dub was to us. It was apparently one of his signature gag phrases from his comedy routines, that he also used throughout his many other acting/voice-acting roles. The comedian Katsuhiro Higo (the actor for the Granute from this episode) had apparently heard the phrase on TV when he was a child (presumably from one of Seki-san's roles), and ended up eventually adopting the phrase for use as one of the running gags in his own comedy trio (Dachou Club) as well, where it also became well known (see: https://youtu.be/JgEudgh8qCU?si=G6IGXh0C5u9ITKUk&t=164). In that sense, it's probably more accurate to say the line in Gavv is a reference to this, as opposed to specifically being the Fantastic Four line, though the end wording is no different.
