[SMC-Subs] Idol Land PriPara - 01 [75C22AE2].mkv torrent

PriPara is back! You're not dreaming! This is really, really real! Well, "episode 0" comes out on September 1st and after that there's no more until (Northern Hemisphere) Spring 2022, but you know.

This episode was streamed on PIA and included the regular episode, an audio commentary and a creditless version of the OP which wasn't even in the episode. The regular and commentary version are only mostly identical video-wise: the audio commentary has a short intro and outro that aren't part of the main episode; meanwhile, the main episode has a next-time preview which isn't in the audio commentary. Basically, this means they don't line up, and rather than having the entire main episode footage duplicated, I elected to go dual audio, padding out the main episode audio track with silence; this release uses MKV editions with ordered chapters to present the two versions of the episode as they were on the stream (except, if you really want to be anal about it, the ED now fades to white in both when it actually only did so in the audio commentary version, and there's one instance of signs now missing from the audio commentary). If you just open the episode, everything should be as expected. Note that the first 10 seconds actually are silent.

(tl;dr) To watch the audio commentary, switch editions (in mpv, press E) and also change the audio track (and disable subtitles if you want). I have a vague intention to sub the commentary track as well (where the missing commentary version signs I mentioned will be softsubbed back in), but haven't delayed the release for this; however, I did make FTLTravel typeset the signs now for that intended future release.
