Compared with the Blu-ray released in Japan, the English version of Paprika has a larger size of the image so there are no black bars on both sides. They also adjusted the colour and applied some noise reduction, making the video look "sharper". However, colour bands are now very noticeable - actually worse on certain scenes than the Japanses version. The lines are a bit better though. There are no obvious artifacts related to the lines. This project uses the English Blu-ray as the source. PP addressed the above-mentioned issues accordingly.
