As I've read the light novel upto volume 9, I kind of want to write a wall of text here...

This episode begins the second story (volume 1 chapter 2) "Tom Thumb Races Through the Oil Field: The Battle of the Gibraltar Blockade," which most likely lasts two episode.

Except for volume 5, each light novel volume of Heavy Object contains three chapters. Each chapter contains a complete not-so-short story. The author's intention is, as mentioned in volume 3's afterword, to have a timeline that continues with each volume, but where you can pick up and enjoy any volume so long as you have the basic information from the first volume. In fact, you can even read nearly any chapter (except for the first one) in any order with little to no trouble at all.

OK... I'll stop here.

I recommend putting this episode on hold and wait until this story completes airing, which should be next week. Just my two cents.
