How can you prove that you live and feel, when everybody else says that you actually don't?

In the 22nd century, mankind has already colonized space, and created totally human-like robots.
One of these androids tries to enter a distant planet illegally. It manages to escape from the
spaceport guards, but it falls onto the surface of the planet, into the lifeless desert. Two friends
accidentally find its pieces. As they look into its memory, they become a part of a story that spans a hundred years...

This film was made to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the opening of Japan to the West.
Rotoscope technique was used for the animation, resulting in unique motion and imagery.
