Eleanor Alice Burford Hibbert, better known to readers as Victoria Holt, Philippa Carr, and Jean Plaidy, was one of the world’s most beloved and enduring authors. She also wrote mysteries and non-fiction under various names. Her career spanned five decades and she was heralded as the “Queen of Romantic Suspense.” She continued to write historical fiction under the name of Jean Plaidy and romantic suspense as Victoria Holt—up until the time of her death on January 18, 1993. What did she think of her own writing? “Never regret,” she once said. “If it’s good, it’s wonderful. If it’s bad, it’s experience.” She wrote more than 200 books in all genres.

Unfortunately, only 2 of the books in these collections are from new rips. All others are reworked from existing torrents. I have tried to clean them up and edit as best I could. Bit rate varies, usually saved at 64k or 32k after editing. Most of her books are available from Audible—in Swedish!
