This guy was extremely obscure, but at LEAST Dylan's equal back in the day.
He vanished without a trace, but for some reason was more popular than the Beatles in South Africa, where he sold a zillion albums.
Many years later a film-maker tracked him down and confronted him with his legendary status, which of course he was totally unaware of.
I implore you to watch the documentary, and especially immerse yourself in his wonderful music.
