After remarrying, Milhouse\'s parents are lost at sea during their honeymoon and presumed dead. Milhouse decides it is time to begin acting like a real man. As a result, he has a new attitude which makes him more popular than ever and Bart can not stand that Milhouse has become cooler than him. Bart comes up with a plan to regain his popularity. In an attempt to bring Milhouse back from a tragic character to a comical one once again, Bart calls Milhouse\'s uncle Zack. When Milhouse gets ready to leave with Zack, Lisa helps Bart realizes how much he loves Milhouse. Milhouse, Zack, and Bart hop in an hot air balloon and soon spot Kirk and Luann who are stuck on an island. After Kirk and Luann\'s hang glider crash through the hot air balloon, Zack calls a boat to rescue them.



Meanwhile, Homer finds himself in a very awkward situation when he can not remember the color of Marge\'s eyes, who prohibits him from making eye contact with her until he remembers, wearing sunglasses whenever he is present. Eventually he remembers a song he wrote for her years ago up to the part where he begins to sing about her eye color. Marge decides that he is close enough to remembering for her to show Homer her eyes, revealing that they are hazel.
