Math is not just about smart. It's also about sweat.
This is a solution manual of selected exercise problems for the textbook Concise Complex Analysis (revised edition), by Sheng Gong and Youhong Gong.
I studied the Chinese version of this textbook back in college, along with the more famous classic, Complex Analysis: An Introduction to the Theory of Analytic Functions of One Complex Variable, by Lars V. Alhfors.
I like Gong's book better, not only because it's more concise but also because it has a nice presentation of Weierstrass Factorization Theorem and Mittag-Leffler Theorem. What were clever tricks in Euler's Introduction to the Analysis of the Infinite now have a unified and much simpler treatment.
If you really enjoy "insights through calculations", I encourage you to try the many exercise problems in the book. It could be a wonderful time killer for a hot and boring summer.
