Se trata de un drama de acción protagonizado por Jeff Hephner (The O.C., Boss), Gerald McRaney (Jericho, Deadwood) y la eternamente atractiva Sharon Stone (Institno Básico) que se centra en una herramienta invisible que trabaja en favor de la sociedad (estadounidense, por supuesto) en tiempos de crisis extrema. Cuando las leyes tradicionales y el gobierno no pueden ayudar, entra en acción esta “mano” que protege al país y a sus ciudadanos de todo tipo de amenazas y bajo cualquier circunstancia. Oculto a la luz pública y de espaldas incluso al Presidente de Estados Unidos, existe un agente secreto que sólo obedece y está bajo el mandato del vicepresidente.
