This is one of the main reasons Williams chose this wonderful animal to explore because he said he has always been fascinated and intrigued by this animal's intelligence and propensity for human contact.

Williams actually gets to "talk" with dolphins at a dolphin research center. And tries the same thing with some dolphins in the wild.

His frolicking with the many dolphins he encounters in the Atlantic Ocean, has him comparing one specially frisky young dolphin with his own young son, Cody! One especially touching moment is the kinship Williams encounters with one famous older legendary dolphin. This he said left him with a real and very strong emotional rapture of real communication with this magnificent animal
