Enchanted Hearts is a nostalgic 2D space type shooter game I wrote in 2012 created for windows pc.

It is a re-creation of a shooter game a created back in 1999 called Daarvek which was then published through a New Jersey software distribution company called Softdisk. The company dropped all their contracts including mine and went to a different business venture at that time.

Daarvek originally had real alien type motherships and other cool features allowing a more complex manipulation of the defending ship.

I couldn't remember all the details of the first game but remember there were more features and even a separate help file.

This Enchanted Hearts 2D shooter is based on some animated hearts I created for my Swedish wife Pia after I left Canada to be with her in Sweden.

This game was written a few years ago in 2012 using VB6.

Everything in the game was written or created by me including sounds and very eerie music. Note that you can toggle sound or music via menu instructions at any time and pause the game if necessary.

The program is virus free and seems to still work great in Windows 10. I believe it should work in most older versions of Windows.

There was a file error with the first attempt. This is version 3.
