Q: Does the multiplayer work in this version?
A: As of now (25.09.2014), it does. Even when this version becomes outdated, you can host a server and play with friends, as long as you have the same version.

To change your in-game name, open LumaEmu.ini.
You'd better change it right after you install the game, because some people would ban you on their servers just because you have the default name.

You'd better play this game with friends, because most people who host games have a password on them.

Apparently, the game supports mods, but I didn't test them.
