Stronghold 2 No CD .EXE torrent

In order to play the game without the CD-ROM you need a cracked game file. All the ones I have found on TBP and other sites worked fine except when i tried updating to the latest version 1.4.1 so that I could play online with my friends. The game crashed every time or asked the for the CD no matter what instructions i followed

the executable in the torrent is not cracked but was obtained from my friend who purchased Stronghold 2 in a pack along with 4 other games this version was shipped already updated to version 1.4.1 and because you only needed one code to install all five games stronghold 2 couldn't have its own DRM (doesn't require you to insert a CD every time)

Install
1. load up "Stronghold-2-Deluxe.iso" in an emulator I used daemon tools
2. install the game
3. run patch 1.4
4. run patch 1.4.1
5. replace the executable in the install directory with the downloads
6. run the game

you want to patch the game first because the executable is all ready patched and you may get an error or be unable to patch it otherwise.
