My Sexual Journey - A Short Essay torrent

I like sex. Sex is good, sex is fun, and sex is natural. I grew up in an extremely, as in over the top, conservative home. Talks about sex were taboo in our home, so was sex for pleasure. Sex was for procreation, and then only the necessary.
When I entered adulthood, I was sexually on uncertain ground.
I had many relationships that were purely sexual. I am not saying they were wrong or that I regret having them. As time passed, I overcame my insecurities, lived out my sexuality and enjoyed having sex. Sex was no longer a deathly sin, guaranteed to an afterlife in a pit of fire.
While I had sexual relationships, I was always searching. Something was missing. It was an emotional connection.
I regret only one sexual encounter. That was a mistake. I still wish it never happened.
