Hannibal is an American thriller television series developed by Bryan Fuller for NBC. The series is based on characters and elements appearing in the novel Red Dragon by Thomas Harris and focuses on the budding relationship between FBI special investigator Will Graham and Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a forensic psychiatrist destined to become Graham's most cunning enemy. The series received a 13 episode order for its first season and, unlike most U.S. network shows, any future seasons will also feature 13 episodes. David Slade executive produced and directed the pilot. The series premiered on NBC on April 4, 2013.

Dr. Abel Gideon escapes on his way to court and begins to kill the psychiatrist that have worked with him after he murdered his family in an attempt to drive out and meet the "Chesapeake Ripper ". Will condition is getting worst by the minute. He take Dr. Gideon at gun point but believes he is Garrett Jacob Hobbs. He takes Dr. Gideon to Lector and his convinced by Dr. Hannibal no one is there. Dr. Hannibal tells Dr. Gideon where to find Dr. Bloom. When Will comes out of his seizure Hannibal acts like he is calling an ambulance and leaves a gun and keys for Will. Will rushes to Dr. Bloom's home and finds Dr. Gideon whom he still visualizes as Garrett Jacob Hobbs. Will shots Dr. Gideon and collapses. Will is later shown in the hospital
